So my dad, in one of his usual drunken-talkative states, started talking politics to me, and he’s a big republican and very anti big government, saying that the gov’t shouldn’t be able to tell a businessman what they can and cannot do
“Businessmen should be allowed to smoke in their own businesses, but the government is telling them they can’t” is one of his examples on the government becoming “communist and socialist”
I countered with “smoking in a business is a public health concern”
But anyways we debated on that but then we came to this:
“There was a kid that got kicked out of school for praying to himself. The government illegalized public prayer”
I simply retorted with the fact that a school-lead prayer was illegal, but praying in school isn’t
He then wanted me to watch the movie “God isn’t dead,” to which I replied with
“I’ve overheard you watching it already” which is true, and from what I heard it has flimsy concepts at best
But then I told him I don’t believe in god and then he went “Next Sunday we are going to church and you’ll learn to believe in god or you won’t live under this roof anymore”

Why was I sired by this backward-thinking man who thinks he “failed as a father” simply because he didn’t manage to brainwash me?

Did you know that you can make houses out of plastic bottles? By filling them with sand, and molding them together with mud or cement, the walls created are actually bullet proof, fire proof, and will maintain an comfortable indoor temperature of 64 degrees in the summer time.

And it’s not like there is any shortage on used plastic bottles out there. Here are some statistics from treehugger.com:

“The United States uses 129.6 Million plastic bottles per day which is 47.3 Billion plastic bottles per year. About 80% of those plastic bottles end up in a landfill!”

To build a two bedroom, 1200 square foot home, it takes about 14,000 bottles.

The United States throws away enough plastic bottles to build 9257 of these 2 bedroom houses per day! That’s just over 3.35 million homes, the same number of homeless people in America.

Many people in third world countries have taken up building homes out of plastic bottles, from Africa to Asia. Perhaps the trend will catch on in America and all of those bottles will stop ending up in the landfills. Wouldn’t they be better off housing the homeless? Kinda like all those empty houses scattered all over the country?

Perfect

Everyone must remember that “Mt. Rushmore” (the Black Hills) does not legally belong to the federal government, and especially not to South Dakota.  It was acknowledged as belonging to the sovereign Lakota Nation in the Sioux Treaty of 1868.  The federal government STOLE the Hills from the Lakota, breaking the law they wrote with their own hands!  The US is a repeat criminal but no one holds them accountable!

never fucking forget.

Wow okay.
Tumblr doesn’t send anymore asks if you send a “.” and a letter or word without a space right after it.

Example: H…hello (doesn’t send it) - H… hello (will send it)

It says it sends the ask but it doesn’t. My gf and I were trying since 2 days now and we just found out what the problem was.
Pass it on.

This explains SO MUCH GRRGHH
